📚Review of Last Month📚-it was a good “summer” breakfast meeting with 45 in attendance. A good dinner social showing a week later. An awesome trip to Silver City, NM to stay at the Murray hotel and a nice dinner at the Toad in town. Then the club went on to Bisbee. A HUGE thank you to John & Renee Robey for an awesome ride.

Alan & Lynne Wagener presented Tom and Kathi with lots of “supplements” as a thank you for such a great premier ride to Utah and a job well done.

🕦Up & Coming🕦- October 17th - Curtis Anderson is sponsoring a nice leisurely ride to Pine, AZ. We currently have 40 signed up so it is sure to be a blast! After lunch the ride ends and you are on your own back home. A larger group however is going to stock Springs Cafe for our on the way home. You are welcome to join if interested.

November 7th - birds on bikes ride which is the same day as the breakfast meeting so we will likely leave directly from the meeting to ride down to St. Vincent de Paul. If you have questions, please reach out to Jerry Russell.

November 11th - we have our annual Veterans Day ride to the Veteran’s memorial and ceremony in Anthem sponsored by Chuck & Carleen.

November 21st - lunch ride to Gila hosted by Tom Clement’s

Dec 5th - the annual Christmas Party and information is going out today.

Dec 19th - the annual frosty balls ride hosted by Mike Viola & Nancy Lohmeier.

Lastly the budget is on point. Tom gave us a quick recap and we are doing well as a club.

⚠️Safety⚠️ - the triangle - what touches the motorcycle? hands, feet, butt? Are you adding forward when you stop? Your seat over time can cause havoc on your body. Also if you are focusing on “my butt hurts” you may not be focusing on the cars around you. Look at a different seat or something custom that works for you. How about hand controls, make sure they work for you. Your shoulders should be relaxed and hands and not in a tight death grip. If this is you, check out new hand controls or a new bar position. Your pegs, floorboards, and foot controls - be aware where your feet are and know that when your feet are forward you put more pressure on your spine and it takes longer to react when you need your rear brake. Adjust your speed accordingly.
