Sedona airport Lunch
As many of you know -- either via my "Lunch Riders" email group or my announcement at the 10/4 meeting -- I am leading a group to the Mesa Grill restaurant for lunch. This place is located at the Sedona airport with great views and a very scenic ride up to the top of the mesa where the runway is located. So far, I think there will be 9 people in the group, but I hope it's many more.
The "To" ride will be via Yarnell, Kirkland, Skull Valley, Jerome, and continuing on Hwy 89A. A little less than 170 miles. We should arrive close to noon. The suggested return is Hwy 179 to I-17, less than 100 miles.
If you can join us, please do so! We will be KSU (Wait! My Can-Am doesn't have a kickstand!) from the McDonalds on Carefree Highway near I-17. Weather looks very good, although be prepared for some cooler temps up in the mountains.
