~January Meeting Recap ~

Welcome back & Happy New Year to you and your families!

🎈2024 🎈- What a great year for BMMC. A return to CA for the premier, lots of awesome day rides. Several new hosts who did a great job planning.

🎍2025 🎍- we reviewed the ride calendar last month, but if you missed it all rides for the year are posted on the website. Many new hosts again - thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone. Thank you!!

🥳New Members 🥳- several new members since our last meeting. David Hayes & Jan Treinen. Bob & Toom Morse, Kevin Frazier & Stephanie Sanders, Mark Hammer. New member Terry finally gets her new member packet. We also had a guest Simon who will be joining. Welcome to guest Rich Krusberger who rides a Street Glide.

❄️December ❄️- 93 people at the breakfast meeting, 83 members at the Christmas party too. Carleen & Lucia planned a great event. Wonderful food, yummy desserts, and lots of dancing. Ron & Vicki outstanding achievement awards went to Kathy Dennis & Tanya Sarkisian. Rob Perez was the member of the year. A great dinner social last month at the creek. And lastly the Frosty Balls ride to the River Bottom in Florence. Thank you the Mike & Nancy for a great ride!

🕦Up & Coming🕦- don’t forget to RSVP for the social. The January ride to Tortilla Flat with the Dolly steamboat ride. Dont forget to sign up. In February we have the BMMC Poker Run on the 15th starting at the Heart & Soul Cafe. PS - they are open at 8am for breakfast. Hands are cash only - 1st hand $15, 2nd $10. We will also have a 50/50 raffle. We will end at The Cove with discounted lunch for purchase. March is a day ride to Copper Corridor hosted by Jim Bowen. In April we will have the overnight to Sierra Vista. This ride was moved due to weather. The premier ride in June to Colorado. Please be sure you have your hotel booked and RSVP done. Make sure also to submit your survey to Kevin. There is a million dollar highway ride, mesa Verde ride, and several other great rides. We are offering a rafting trip and get a great discount. Let us know if you are interested. The March dinner show gathering is sold out however there is still a chance you can join. Reach out to Alan Wagner if you need info. We will also be doing the Tour of Duty to benefit Veterans again this year. Alan will bring maps for sale. Cost is $10 per map.

🎁 Thank you 🎁- to all those that donated. BMMC collected almost 1,100 pajamas and almost 50 books. Thank you to all those that also helped with sorting.

⚠️Safety⚠️ - You are free to ride with the group or on your own if you wish. If you feel you need to leave the ride, please try to do that on a stop/break and please let your ride captain know so that we are aware. If you leave during the ride and want to leave, back out and make sure to let the sweep know you are leaving - how to do that is by giving g a thumbs up. 👍 Thank you to those that signed up for the advanced order class on Friday, Jan 31st. There are still slots and the cost is discounted . Class is 11:30-5pm with no classroom time. Lunch is 10:30-11:30 provided by David & Melina on-site. Make sure if you are joining the class you pay attention to the requirements as Team AZ is strict about this.

💰Dues 💰- they are due, please pay them and if you have any questions contact Tom Dennis. This is your investment in funds. The return on your $$ is huge! In 2024 they for you - breakfast meetings, dinner social fun, day rides, overnight rides, the fabulous premier, Christmas party.

💃WOW!! 💃- women of BMMC who ride or love someone who rides. The official name is Women on Wheels, thank you to Tanya Sarkisian for founding our group. Next gathering is on Jan 29th 5pm at Lisa Gaeta’s home. Bring an app and join us.
