Coronado Trail Ride: ACT II

This is one of the best motorcycle rides in Arizona. Why? The scenery is gorgeous. You will gain over 5,000 feet in elevation while driving one of the twistiest road in Arizona. This winding road has more than 400 curves to hug. Devil’s Highway is US 191, Coronado Trail Scenic Byway formerly Route 666.  

Unfortunately, the Ride to Coronado Trail scheduled for June 18-20th was cancelled.  The decision was based on weather reports, road conditions and overall safety of the club. It turned out to be a bad decision.

Based on the comments received, many are still interested in doing this ride.  Therefore, we are setting up a September ride to the Coronado Trail. Dates will be Sept 16-18th.  

Information for booking your room and rates are listed below. We are hoping for cooler temps and great weather for this iconic ride.

FRIDAY: 114 mi to Chalos, 80 mi to Safford (total 194). Lunch at Chili's Mexican Restaurant in Globe, approx 11am. Friday dinner at Copper Steer Restaurant at 5pm (1206 E US Highway 70)

SATURDAY: Depart 8:00am

114 mi to Hanagan, Meadow Lodge (Lunch), 23 mi to alpine (gas), 81 mi to Show Low (total 218 mi). Saturday dinner at Licano's Mexican & Steakhouse (573 W Deuce of Clubs) at 5pm
