River Runners
Hello BMMC’rs going to Cody. I am coordinating a whitewater rafting trip for a small group on Thursday. This is the day that no spoke rides are planned. The trip is in the morning and we should be back by lunch time so you will still have some time to explore Cody. The company we are using is River Runners which was established om 1967 by Buffalo Bill’s great grandson. They offer and unforgettable vacation experience on your tri through Yellowstone Country. Beautiful scenery and local wildlife away your trip down Cody's Shoshone River, so grab you comfy clothes and get ready for some whitewater!

Rafting Trip Route - Family Whitewater Adventure
Description: This dynamite Shoshone River trip is perfect for the adventuresome group. You’ll experience a shower of nature with exciting cascades and lots more rapids. !!!
Rapids – Class 1 or 2 mainly. We could experience a class III but nothing higher. The more intense rapids are in the North fork which will be too low at the end of July so they cannot run that part of the river.
Duration: 2.5 hours
Cost: $47+tax
Seats – we have a full boat which fits up to 12/13 people
Â
What They Provide
Round trip transportation to and from the river, foul weather gear (rain jackets), and Coast Guard-approved life jackets – which must be worn at all times.
Action photographs of the trip are available in the office after the trip so you do not need to worry about bringing your phone (additional purchase).
·      Â
What to Wear or Bring
Wear shorts, t-shirts, swimwear, Tevas/sandals/tennis shoes, and sunglasses. Of course, you’ll want to bring sun protection and a sweatshirt or windbreaker.
Waiver – a waiver is required. If you want to fill it out ahead of time and bring it, you can or you can do it when you pay onsite – see form attached.
Payment – you just need to pay the morning when we arrive.
Cancellation – If you choose to join us but decide later you will not, please just be sure to let me know by 8/1 so that I can let the company know or we can find an alternate for your spot. Otherwise they will still expect full payment for your seat.
