Greetings Friends! Here is an update on the very successful pajama and book donations that we received.  BMMC members donated 95 pairs of pajamas, 41 books and $765 in cash and checks.  The monetary donations that we received were very helpful in purchasing the pajamas that were needed to fulfill a request from an agency.  I wish you all could have been at St. Gabriel’s Church as the agencies came to pick up the donations.  They were so very grateful and kept on telling us how thankful they were to give new pajamas and books to the children, especially at that time of year. This accomplishment is not achieved alone – it was because of your efforts that something as basic as a pair of pajamas and a book made a child feel comforted at bedtime. So a very big thank you to all of you who donated, helped to sort, ship and box up the donations.  You contributed to making a difference in the lives of these very special children and we thank you for that! Hi Friends, Just a friendly reminder that we will be collecting your donations of new pajamas and books at the meeting on Saturday, December 2nd. We have 40 Community Partners throughout the state that rely on us for this very basic need so that their kids can go to sleep in new pj's, and your generousity in the past has helped to make this happen. Hi Friends! At the January breakfast meeting I gave a little report on the amount of donations that were received for Pajama Program this past holiday season. BMMC members donated 134 pairs of pajamas, 2 books and between checks and cash, we received $960. The monetary donations that we received really helped us in getting the specific sizes that some of the shelters needed. All in all, we were able to give out 6,662 pairs of pajamas and 2,494 books in 2022, because of very generous donors such as yourselves. So, a big thank you to all of you who donated, helped to sort and ship the donations. You made a difference in the lives of these very special children, and we thank you for that!

Greetings Friends! The next step in the process of getting the donations of pajamas and books to the children is filling the orders that we received from the agencies and packing them up. We will be at the following location on Tuesday, December 13th: Mountain View Presbyterian Church 8050 East Mountain View Road Scottsdale, AZ 85258 We will be in the Annex building which is North of the church, in room 101; I plan on arriving at 10:00 am. Greetings Friends! We are so grateful to the Black Mountain Motorcycle Club for assisting us in securing donations for children living in shelters, group homes and foster care facilities. In past years, hundreds of children benefited from receiving new pajamas and new books through your generosity. We will be collecting your donations at the next meeting on December 3rd, however we realize that the holidays are a busy time for all of us and if you would like to make a monetary donation, we can accept that as well. All checks should be made out to Pajama Program, Arizona Chapter; we can also accept cash and you will receive a thank you letter from me that can be used as a tax receipt. When we receive monetary donations, 100% goes towards purchasing new pajamas and new books.
