I've been owning/riding motorsickles since 1968 starting with a two-cycle Yamaha 80. Even back then, I had a sissy bar. In 1973 I bought my first Harley, a brand new Super Glide Shovelhead and I still own it. As of the beginning of 2022 this bike is in the shop getting a fresh coat of paint and an electric start (yes, it was a kick only). My main rider is a Captain America style chopper, 1340cc Evolution Harley. I am starting 2022 with 284,000 miles on this bike. In January of 2003, I bought the Captain on consignment with 20k miles on it from a famous actor in Germany, Wolfgang Freirke. The chopper was built in there by this guy that also owned a Harley dealership in Munich. He said he liked riding the backroads of the USA because here he was just another rider, not a movie star. Not having a windshield, front fender or other modern "improvements" has taken its toll as I age but I will ride this beauty until I can ride no more, enjoying all the elements of a legacy motorcycle ride.

Lynne owns her own bike too, a 2007 750 Honda Shadow. Although she has yet to develop the passion, she rides like a seasoned veteran.
