On July 18th through the 22nd, forty members traveled to Telluride, Colorado for the 3rd Annual Hub & Spoke Ride.  This year’s event hosts were Dick & Judy Pollick, Jim & Jacqui O’Hara, and Dan Wood & Ruthie Salant.  The event was expanded to four nights and five days to accommodate the member’s request for additional riding time in the beautiful Colorado area.

With the open riding venue of the Hub & Spoke Event, members traveled to Telluride on various days and different routes.  Everyone came together on Wednesday evening, July 18th, at the Chair 8 Restaurant to enjoy the first of four delightful club sponsored cocktail parties.

The appetizers were delicious and more than enough to cancel any dinner plans that had been made.  The members enjoyed the time to visit and make plans for their day rides.  The hosts had provided detailed maps and directions for various scenic rides to choose from.

Thursday, was an open riding day, and members departed in various directions to enjoy the fabulous Colorado mountain scenery.  That evening everyone regrouped at the Camel Gardens Hospitality Room for another fun cocktail party.  Following a fun party, a number of members took the gondolas to the top of the mountain for a delicious dinner at Allred’s Restaurant and enjoyed the spectacular view from the dining room.

Friday members again broke into small groups and traveled to various destinations.  Some enjoyed the scenic route to Gateway and took in the Auto Museum , while others traveled the loop to Ouray, Silverton , Durango and back to Telluride.  Friday evening, everyone enjoyed fantastic food and a great cocktail party at the Floradora Saloon in downtown Telluride.  It was a fun party!!!

Saturday found the members slowing down some, a number of them rented Segways, and enjoyed the guided tour thru town.  Others checked out the stores in town, and some of the more energetic enjoyed hiking on the trails in the area.

The farewell cocktail party was held at Track’s in Mountain Village .  The members rode the gondolas up the beautiful mountains to the village, and gathered at Track’s for some really delicious food, and reminisced about their adventures in Colorado .

Sunday morning members departed in small groups at various times for the return trip home.

The participating members and BMMC would like to thank hosts, Dick & Judy Pollick, Jim & Jacqui O’Hara, Dan Wood & Ruthie Salant for making our 3rd Annual Telluride Event a tremendous success!!  Great job guys!
