On a beautiful Saturday morning, 60 enthusiastic members on 45 motorcycles met at the departure point for the very popular Cruisin’ to Creekside Ride.

Ride Hosts, Don & Judy Walton planned a 9:30 departure for the scenic ride to the cool country. When the hosts were planning the ride, the weather forecast was for much cooler temperatures. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not keep her promise, and it was quite warm at the departure point, and although cooler in the high country, it was still pleasant but warmer than usual.

Don & Judy had divided the riders into 4 pre-assigned Riding Groups. Following the pre-ride briefing, the groups departed for the ride to Christopher Creek. It was a beautiful morning, and a very pleasant ride to the restaurant.

Upon arrival at the Creekside Steakhouse, the staff was more than prepared for us, and orders were flying out of the kitchen. The service was very timely and friendly, the food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed a wonderful lunch while visiting with fellow members.

Following lunch, members traveled in all directions for the return ride home and some diverted to the higher elevations to enjoy as much of the cool weather as possible before returning to the “record breaking heat in the valley”!

We sincerely want to thank Ride Hosts, Don & Judy Walton for hosting our Cruisin’ to Creekside Ride, and all of the Ride Captains who skillfully and safely lead our members to Christopher Creek. A special thanks to Ray Williams for riding ahead of the groups and capturing some great shots of our arrival at the Steakhouse and to Leslie Jensen and Liz Jones for their great photos!!
