2008 Laughlin Run To The

River Ride Review

Twenty-five BMMC members joined hosts Paula Scardina, & Mo Stramaglio for the “Riding the River Run” to the 26th annual Laughlin River Run.

Due to the various riding schedules of the participants, there was no group ride to and from Laughlin. The members traveled in small groups, departing on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

On Thursday evening, and Friday evening, BMMC members were treated to a club sponsored cocktail party at the Colorado Bell Hotel. The evening hospitality suite offered the members an opportunity to gather with fellow members to discuss their day’s activities and rides, and to plan for the next day’s excursions.

Some members enjoyed a fun ride to Oatman, Arizona on historic route #66 for a hardy breakfast and to people and bike watch. Others took a longer ride down to Lake Havasu for a ride over the London Bridge. Shopping was brisk as members took advantage of the many vendors at the event offering some great deals.

The Riding the River participants would like to extend their thanks to Paula and Mo for hosting the two great club sponsored hospitality parties.
