VULTURE MINE LOOP RIDE

Ride host Bart Iden invites you to join in on the First BMMC Ride of the New Year, The Vulture Mine Loop Ride.
Last Year we had a fantastic turn out for our First 3rd Saturday of the month Ride to Waddell's Longhorn Corral for lunch. The weather was beautiful, the route was delightful and the lunch was delicious. This year will be even better.
On Saturday morning, January 21st at 8:30am, we will meet in the parking lot directly South of the Jack-In-The Box, which is located 1/2 mile East of I-17 on the South side of Carefree Hwy. The riders Pre-Ride Briefing will take place at 8:45 with the first group departing at 9:00
Our route to Waddell's will take us west on Carefree Hwy for 30.5 miles to Hwy 60. We will turn right on 60 and travel to the "Big" Shell Station in Wickenburg, which will be at mile 40.2, for a gas and bio stop. Following our stop, we will continue on Hwy 60 to mile 43, (which is) Vulture Mine Road and make a left. Proceed on Vulture Mine Road to mile 62.4, (which is) Wickenburg Road and make a left. Our next turn will be at mile 79.3, Indian School Road where we will turn right. Go to mile 82.3 and turn left onto Wintersberg Road. Go to mile 87.1 and turn left onto Salome Hwy. At mile 93.6 turn left onto Baseline Road. At mile 111 turn left onto Jackrabbit Trail. Go to mile 117 and you will be at Waddell's Longhorn Corral.
Waddell's is a great sports bar with awesome food and an extensive menu. In addition to enjoying a super lunch, you can team up with members for a fun game of horseshoes, or just kick back and enjoy the first BMMC Ride of the year.
Following lunch, you are on your own for the return ride home.
If you plan on
bringing a guest, remember that the guest must complete and return a
Waiver form that is available under “Downloads” on the website.
Also, no guest is allowed to ride with the group unless their host
BMMC member is in attendance.
